Happy Graduation Day!
Story: It's the Last Day of School  By: Maribeth Boelts
The Night Before Summer Vacation  By: Natasha Wing
Happy Birthday Thomas! (May 31)
Math: Zero the Hero visits today...Day 170!

Again, make the summer packet to be given to you at graduation a top priority the ENTIRE summer. The activities are simple, quick, and organized by day of the week. Be sure to read all summer as too many skills can be lost...the benefits FAR outweigh the duty!

~All of our "Mr.& Mrs. Wishy Washys" were hard at cleaning...
~As I write the final update, I know in my heart I have given all that I could to help your child grow. They helped me grow in so many ways too! We became a kinderfamily that will forever remain in my heart. More importantly, they have given all they could to be such great learners! I want to thank all of you again for making our partnership be what it was for the benefit of your child. I would hope someday they would all say:
All I really need to know I learned in Kindergarten!

Happy trails to you, until we meet again...

Project: The kids will make Mrs. Wishy Washy's headpiece in order to BECOME HER! Yes...we are ALL going to be her in order to do some cleaning of our classroom. The kids will get aprons to wear and plenty of water to use in order to get the job done! They will be doing a chant to help squeeze out the excess water in their rags:
Wishy washy, wishy washy, shake-shake-shake.

**Other Mrs. Wishy Washy activities today include:
~Mrs. Wishy Washy reader (can sight word)
~The animals always say, "Oh lovely mud." How would you describe mud?

Track & Field Day! We are ready to have TONS of fun!
We are learning about the Memorial Day holiday this afternoon.
Project: We often see poppies for sale this time of year. Why? The children will learn about this and make a poppy to bring home.

We NEVER get to run or scream in the halls at school! Since everyone will be outside for Track & Field, we are going to take advantage of that this afternoon! Oh boy...you may just hear the screaming and laughter!
Shhh!! Don't tell anyone...

~'Be the Teacher' is on Tuesday!
Enjoy your holiday weekend!
