 Language Arts: Using the poster Splash Time, the kids will:~Draw conclusions using clues in a text and what they already know.

~Make inferences to help draw conclusions.

 Writer's Workshop: Much of Writer's Workshop has been saved for certain topics that the kids need to write about. The next few days will be a 'free write' where they can choose their own topic yet still focus on stretching the sounds out, using finger spaces, and punctuation marks.

Math: Today we will keep working on story problem and again we will BE the number bond!  We are going to act out this story problem: 6 birds were sitting in the birdbath. Some flew away. Do we know how many flew away yet? No, we will need more information. AND Are we adding more or taking some away? Now there are 2 birds left. How many birds flew away? Again, we will do a few more problems similar to this.
