It's our Track & Field Day and we are ready to have TONS of fun!
The children will be participating in the 50 yard dash, long jump, softball throw and the Critter Dash. All participants will receive a medal. 😊 At the conclusion of the events, we will resume our normal day.

We NEVER get to run or scream in the halls at school! Since everyone else will be outside for Track & Field, we are going to take advantage of that this afternoon! Oh boy...you may just hear the screaming and laughter!
Shhh!! Don't tell anyone...
We are learning about the Memorial Day holiday means today.
Project: We often see poppies for sale this time of year. Why? The children will learn about this and make a poppy to bring home.

Math: Fact Families Focus
fact family is a group of math facts using the same numbers. In the case of addition/subtraction, you use three numbers and get four facts. For example, you can form a fact family using three numbers 5, 2, and 7:
5 + 2 = 7
2 + 5 = 7
7 − 5 = 2
 7 − 2 = 5
Time for Kids: Hello, Yosemite!

~There are a couple of smaller papers in the Wednesday envelope coming home today. I don't want you to miss it!
