Today's lesson focuses on understanding what the number 7 is and how it can be represented in multiple ways. (writing the numeral, 7 fingers, tallies, number word, 7 objects, counting 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. etc.) Again, we will use the story Hop Jump by Ellen Stoll Walsh to help with counting and playing two games that involve counting and identifying the next number in a sequence of numbers: Roll & Cover and What Comes Next? (We did not get to this on Friday either!)

We are attending a quick T-Mobile pepfest in the high school this afternoon for the  contest our school is in. It is for a chance to win a signicant amount of money for our school and football program! PLEASE vote here!

 

~ Our class is scheduled to shop at the Book Fair tomorrow. We will be shopping from 12:05-12:25.

~Again, I am looking forward to visiting with those of you who are scheduled for conferences this evening. 😃
