The preschoolers will visit our classroom from 10-10:45 this morning to get a tiny glimpse as to what kindergarten will be like. We plan to read a Pete the Cat story and make him as part of their visit.

Math: Totally 10! (We were unable to get to this on Friday.)

New Concept: Today we are going to play another game with cards. It is called “Totally 10!”  

Whole Group Explore: Today you will play “Totally 10!” with your partner. Remember how we counted on in our last game? You can touch the biggest number and say it, then count on. Like this, “7, 8, 9, 10.” If you make a match to 10, you will say, “Totally 10!” and keep both cards. Then it will be your partner’s turn.
