              Happy New Year! The children are making a picture of themselves blowing a horn to ring in 2020!

Sight Word Focus: we

 Writer's Workshop: We will discuss what resolutions are and write about one resolution we want for school.

 Literacy Jobs
We have many new literacy jobs now available during this block of time. Many jobs focus on sight words, word families and CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words.
Book Club will resume next week.

 Math: About 13: Groups of Ten
Again, we are now working with teen numbers and really trying to see that it is '10 and some more.'

PhyEd Today
 **We now have a vet clinic play area in our classroom. A waiting area accommodates those waiting to have their pets seen by the doctor.
