The children will practice using effective phrasing with the rhyme Little Jack Horner.
~Phrases are groups of words.
~Phrases contain two or more words.
~We read all the words together.
~Reading a phrase should sound like talking.
~Think about what the words in the phrase mean when they are together.
**Homework: Have your child read Little Jack Horner for/with you using effective phrasing. Return tomorrow with your signature for your child to receive a shamrock stamp.

~Let me know if you are planning to go anywhere for Spring Break...Thank you!
