Language Arts: We're building fluency with the big book Teddy on the Move. I am introducing what a verb is through some of the action words presented in the story.
Writer's Workshop: I will continue to model writing an informational report by using the big book What Are Some Rules at Home? by Margaret McNamara. First, I start with the title- Safety Rules. Next, a topic sentence-Rules help keep children safe. Finally, two facts to support the topic-Parents make rules about helmets. Parents make rules about knives.
