Writer's Workshop: Celebrate!We end our first unit in Writer's Workshop on illustrating/labeling. The children have become more detailed in their illustrations as well as attempting to write the sounds they hear to label their pictures. Today, we will celebrate their accomplishments!
Kindermath: Comparing Sets
Music TodayOur focus today will be on what it means to be brave or courageous. The children will receive a small paper booklet that explains what Veterans Day is.
~Iraqi War Vet, Sean Nies has sent a video to us today explaining what a Veteran is and what his job was when he served. Sean was a Seabee in the Navy and his rank was First Class Petty Officer. He was deployed to Al Taqaddum, Iraq. His wife is a former teacher here at MLE. To see the short video, click here.
~Late start tomorrow...The children should wear anything that is green or shows their Irish spirit.
