The children will be exposed to a variety of skills with this big book:
~Build academic vocabulary and concepts related to frogs.
~Determine text importance.
~Use a graphic organizer.
~Identify nonfiction text features: table of contents and glossary.

 Our storybook reader this morning is scheduled for 9:30 to read The Year Without a Santa Claus.
