~The children will hear the story "The Kissing Hand" and make kissing hands for you. You can have the story read again to your child by clicking here.
Today, we will revisit the cafeteria expectations with
Don't Be a Lunch Monster. Be sure to look in your child's Round Trip Folder for a book/and activity page they will do.

Some of the teaching points are:
~Eat first, talk last.
~Be sure to keep your food to yourself.
~Clean up after yourself.
~Stay seated at the lunch table until an adult tells you to empty your tray.
~Quiet voices.
**If you can remind your child of these points, the expectations become internalized quicker.

Free exploration of math manipulatives is an important first step before expecting the children to use them in a purposeful way. The children will get the chance to explore the type of images as shown above.
~Late start is Tuesday, September 8. School begins at 10:15 and there is no breakfast.
~Over the summer, I reached out on social media for book sponsors for each of my students. I received an overwhelming response to this request and as a result, your child will be receiving a book a month all year long! The book order is due Wednesday, September 16. The sponsored book this month is:
