Monday, October 19

Each day a new word is introduced and worked with Monday-Thursday. The following week, we will review two of them and introduce two new ones. We call them "Popcorn Words" because they 'pop' up everywhere in reading and sometimes I call them Snap Words since we have to know them in a snap!

Literacy Shelf Time
Again, the Literacy shelf contains baskets of activities that allow children to practice skills in letter sounds, upper/lowercase letter matching, letter order, and sight words.

We begin a new unit today called Numbers 1-10.
