KinderLiteracy: My 5 Senses
Using the story, the kids will answer simple recall questions such as: How are the children using their senses in the pictures? Our tongues are described as bumpy. What clues help you to understand the word bumpy? Which one of your senses is most important to you? Which one do you think you use the most?
Today we are going to begin learning about another important group of people called the Wampanoag. Native Americans, or Indigenous people, lived in America thousands of years before the Pilgrims and other colonists came. The Indigenous group that lived near where the Pilgrims settled are known as the Wampanoag. |
