Reading SkillsWe are rereading the Three Little Pigs to build fluency and develop "Tier Two Vocabulary" by focusing in on sound words (slammed, knocked, whispered, bump, thump, splash)
DAILY 5We are learning how to 'Read to Self' by building stamina for reading behaviors. This takes time and a lot of practice to develop. Yesterday, the kids made it to almost 3 minutes of uninterrupted reading on their own! Our goal is about 7-10 minutes...they are training their brain to become an independent reader!
Math: Decomposing (taking apart) the #10 in a variety of ways.
