 Writer's Workshop: Labeling
To launch the lesson, the mentor text My Map Book by Sara Fenelli will trigger ideas of how labeling gives us information. A silly way to engage the kiddos is to label me! After stretching out words together on sticky notes, the kids will place them on me! 
As time would have it, we didn't get to finish this lesson yesterday, so we will today!

Kindermath: One Less

The kids will work on this concept by playing the game of Concentration. The picture below tells how they will play but it will be One Less. 

The other One Less activity planned is described below.

 This promotes math skill work of: compare, greater, less, same.

~Please email me if you have a family member in the military and what branch they are in. It is for an upcoming activity we are doing for Veterans Day.
~ A few turkeys in disguise have been coming in...they are hiliarious and I can't wait to see more!
