Sight Word Focus: on
Name Focus: Landon
A storybook reader is scheduled for 10:10 to read Me I Am!
Phonological Awareness: Segment Words by Syllables EX: um-pire, tur-tle
We will do this by clapping/whispering/pantomiming
(We were unable to do this lesson yesterday.)
Language Arts: Building Vocabulary Concepts Related to Rules, Identify Nonfiction Text Features, Identify Main Idea & Supporting Details-All of this through using the Big Book: What are Some Rules at Home?
DAILY 5: The letter explaining this should have come home yesterday. Our stamina for uninterrupted reading was 2 minutes yesterday! We will see this time go up and down but the idea is to get better at independent reading each time.
