Reader's Wokshop: The kids are learning how to make inferences using what they see in pictures and read in text. They will learn to comprehend the meaning in text by making connections to themselves with the pictures and words.
Reading Strategy: Eagle EyeOver the next couple of weeks we will focus in on reading strategies that will help children decode words when they get stuck. The children will work on Eagle Eye today.

~Yesterday's storybook reader...
**We now have a vet clinic play area in our classroom. Two vets can play in the area at one time. A waiting area accommodates those waiting to have their pets seen by the doctor. Oh, the imaginative play that will take place!
