The preschoolers will visit our classroom from 10-10:45 this morning to get a tiny glimpse as to what kindergarten will be like. We plan to read a Pete the Cat story and have them make him as part of their visit.

SMART Room
~'Teach the Teacher' forms were due today. If you haven't done so, please return your child's plan. The children will be presenting their lessons next week.
~Watch for smaller papers in the Wednesday envelope today. ~Again, the K-kids will be participating in some events for Track & Field Day until about 10 a.m. You are invited to join us as your child rotates through the events. If you are willing to help, just let me know that day and I will fill you in on what you can do. Thanks!

Math: Munching Monster
New Concept: Today we will take two cards and add them together.
Whole Group Explore: Today you will play Monster Munch with your partner. You will each take two cards and add the numbers together. Place the greater than or less than symbol down. Next you will spin the spinner to see who gets to keep all of the cards.
Student Application: Students will compare numbers and solve simple mixed equations.
