Delete one sound to make a new word:
Brush. Delete /b/. Rush.
Clean. Delete /c/. Lean.

 Writer's Workshop: Giving Two Reasons
Again we are going to talk about using the word ‘because’ and giving two reasons to back up our opinion.
When we give our opinion it is always best to give a reason why but two reasons are even better.

This is the last day of this unit where we use the terminology 'and' & 'make'. The kids will be combining numbers that make 10 by using the story Ten for Me by Barbara Mariconda, a number bond board and connecting cubes.
