KinderLiteracy: My 5 Senses 
Using the story, the kids will answer simple recall questions such as: How are the children using their senses in the pictures? Our tongues are described as bumpy. What clues help you to understand the word bumpy? Which one of your senses is most important to you? Which one do you think you use the most?

Writer's Workshop: Person and Setting (Day 2)
The kids will draw a different character and setting for today's lesson. It's important to get multiple ideas drawn on paper for when the time comes to write words with their story. 

Literacy Jobs

Mrs. Weninger will be here teach the children about the Unthinkables, Worry Wall  & Mean Jean.

KinderMath: Compare Numerals
The children will be working with number cards and connecting cubes to compare numbers. This lesson involves the children using 'Math Talk' with the words more, less, and same. We will be going back and forth between more and less in the activities so the kiddos will have to think carefully!
