Language Arts: Using the nonfiction story, Children Past and Present by Matthew Frank, the children will build academic vocabulary and concepts related to children in the past and present time. They will compare and contrast information in the text and identify and discuss nonfiction text features (table of contents, boldface words, glossary).*Please help your child complete the homework coming home tonight that supports this lesson.
