Math: Roll and Record
Using two dot cubes, the kids roll the cubes to find out the total number of dots and record those numbers on a grid. We are really working on identifying the number of dots on the cube just by looking at the one that has more and then count on. For example, look at the dice pictured above. We want the kids to say, "4...5,6,7."

Happy New Year! The children are making a picture of themselves blowing a horn to ring in 2014!
Smart Room: It's penguins galore in the Smart Room! The children will learn about the stations today and I will highlight the new ones next week.
~What an honor to have lunch with some hard working K-Kids! I am looking forward to this fine dining experience!
~It was fun celebrating Carter & Joe's birthdays yesterday!
