








In this activity, 4 bears are lined up at the starting point and a dot cube that contains a 1, 2, or 3 is rolled to move the bears. More than one bear can be moved on a turn. For instance, if a 3 is rolled, one bear can move forward 2 spaces and another bear can move 1 space. The bears race to the finish line to collect a counter and start over again until 10 counters are collected. Their work focuses on:
~Counting spaces and moving on a gameboard.
~Thinking strategically about moves on the gameboard.

Again, we share the magazine with all K-classes so your child will be able to keep a copy once a month.
