The children will be visiting Santa's Secret Shop this morning. They will be searching for some special item(s) to give to you! Tuesday, December 9 is their shopping day.
Art: Shape Lesson
1. Shape is a two-dimensional area that may be open or closed, free form or geometric.
2. The names of some geometric shapes are the circle, triangle, square and rectangle.
3. One can arrange single shapes in different ways to create a design.
4. Folding a square over from one corner diagonally across from the other creates a triangle.
5. Two rectangles can be made by folding a square lengthwise and then cutting along the crease that is created by the fold.
