We will learn how to open/shut our locker, how to walk quietly in the hall, what the playground rules are, and bathroom etiquette. Assume nothing, teach everything!
Each day we do the calendar, the children will be involved through the use of their 'laptop' binder pages that mirror the calendar on the SmartBoard. We will focus our calendar time on learning how to fill in these pages so we have a good handle on how to use them.We will learn how to open/shut our locker, how to walk quietly in the hall, what the playground rules are, and bathroom etiquette. Assume nothing, teach everything!
~The children will hear the story "The Kissing Hand" and make a kissing hand for you. They will each receive a copy of the book which was donated by local community members who love reading!
Today, we will revisit the cafeteria expectations with Don't Be a Lunch Monster. I hope you had a chance to reread the paper copy sent home!

~Walk in the cafeteria.
~Eat first, talk last.
~Be sure to keep your food to yourself.
~Clean up after yourself.
~Stay seated at the lunch table until an adult tells you to empty your tray.
The book order is due Wednesday, September 15.
