Guided Phonics: t (Day one)

KinderMath: Read and Write 9
In addition to focusing on number 9, the kids will work on identifying the missing number in a counting sequence (7, _ , 9) as well as counting on from 5 using a Ten Frame as shown. .png)
We want the children to see that within the ten frame, the top row has 5 and one more below it. We count: "5,6". There is no need to count each dot if we train our brain to see "5" automatically. They will continue counting on with numbers 7-9.
Project: Pip the Pup Pumpkin
The kids will put the finishing touches on Pip. 
Mrs. Weninger will introduce the children to the superhero characters, Blurting Bob and Topic Twister. The photo just shows Topic Twister.
