KinderLiteracy: Transportation
Simple recall questions for today: What is the job of an author/illustrator?
Is this a fiction or nonfiction book?
What is a fact we learned about transportation?
We will focus on the vocabulary words within the story (traffic, crawls, wind, island, neighborhood).
Again, these are boxes of educational activities that allow children to practice skills in letter sounds, upper/lowercase letter matching, letter order, sight words and more.

Irish Pride Celebration Today at 2:15
Bringing our elementary students together builds community and school pride! Students of the month for September will be recognized as well as new students to Maple Lake. The new character word for the month will also be introduced which is kindness. We end the celebration by singing our Irish Pride song.
