Writer's Workshop: Character and Setting 
For awhile now, the kids have been illustrating different people and objects. Today, they will put the two together as a "character and setting" into one illustration.

 Handwriting: Rainbow Curve Review
(We did not get to this yesterday.)

KinderMath: Read and Write 9-10
Partners will work on building sets of 9 and 10 using a 10-Frame and comparing with each other who has more/less. Next, the children will hear the story, Ten Black Dots and see how sets of 9 and 10 dots can be made into different things. The story will be used again tomorrow so the children can create their own picture using black dots.

Zero the Hero visits today for Day 30!

Lunch will be in our classroom tomorrow for homework done over break! Your child will still choose from the school menu or they can bring a cold lunch.
