 Writer's Workshop: Adding More Sounds

Yesterday, we learned a new strategy when labeling our pictures which is

counting how many sounds we hear and draw lines for each sound.

This way helps them know how many letters they will need to write. Today, I am

going to continue teaching them how to count the sounds they hear by labeling parts of a pre-drawn playground.

KinderMath: Compare Height

We will explore with a variety of objects to compare their height and encourage the kids to use their math vocabulary...shorter, taller, same as, height.
(We didn't get to this yesterday.)
