Writer's Workshop: Adding More Sounds
Not long ago, we learned a new strategy when labeling our pictures which is counting how many sounds we hear and draw lines for each sound. This way helps them know how many letters they will need to write. Today, I am going to continue teaching them how to count the sounds they hear by labeling parts of a pre-drawn train.
In addition to doing activities about 16, the kids will draw and label a set of ten and some more to the following word problems:I see 10 red cards and 5 black cars.
I have 10 dolls and 2 babies.I saw 10 snakes and 4 lizards.My mom has 10 shirts and 6 shoes.
