Friday, December 20
 The candy canes have bloomed!

All Aboard!
It's time to head to the North Pole on the Polar Express!

We are watching the story of The Polar Express By: Chris Van Allsburg on the SmartTV. Our chairs will be placed in rows so the kids can see and hear the story come to life. Before leaving on our make-believe train ride, the kids will be given a ticket to be punched and at the end of the ride, receive a letter and bell from Santa. In fact, we received real mail from Santa the other day!!

We are having hot chocolate and popcorn when we return from the North Pole! Project: Train
The kids are making the Polar Express as it drives through the midnight snow.

~The kids sure are excited to have the book exchange today and open their gift from me as well! I love this time of year!!

At 2:10, we will have a school-wide sing along to send us off into the holidays...

~I am sending home UFLI list 24 today. Please have your child do their practice sheets  over this long break!
~I want to thank all of you for entrusting your child to me each day so I can continue doing what I love to do! As we approach 2025, take time to soak in everything your little cherub is. Try to view the world like they see it, embrace their innocence and curiosity, and savor their youth because in a blink of an eye, it's over!
May your holidays be truly special with your family and friends.
~See you in 2025~
