   Social Studies: Holidays Around the World
    The children will learn about the celebration of Las Posadas in Mexico.
KinderMath: Compare Capacity
One of the activities the kids will do during this lesson is compare a small bowl of rice to a larger bowl full of rice. Which bowl holds more? Which bowl holds less? Using small cups to scoop out the rice, the kids will count how many cups of rice were in the smaller bowl compared to the larger bowl. 
(We did not get to this yesterday.)

Phy Ed Today

Project: Gingerbread Jack/Jill
The kids are making the sleeping bag for Gingerbread Jack or Jill to bring home for a sleepover this weekend.
Record the events they did together and draw or take a picture of the fun they had. The paper for this will come home with your child today and should be returned on Monday.

~We enjoyed celebrating with Hayven yesterday....

 ~My heart was full last night! There is nothing more precious than to see the kids all dressed up and hear them sing!

~UFLI Lesson 20 will be in your child's folder today. 
~If you haven't done so, please return the blue conference sheet.
~Christmas in Maple Lake is tomorrow in the downtown area. There will be fun activities available for the kids, chance for prizes, and a visit from Santa and his reindeer!
