 Mrs. Thomas has a fun activity planned for their last visit to the library. They will be eating their way through The Very Hungry Caterpillar story! Be sure to ask them about it when they get home! 
KinderMath: Sort and State Data

Using items from our classroom, the kids will sort them into categories and analyze the data. For example, the kids have a mixture of 8 bear counters, 5 crayons and 3 paperclips. First, they sort their mixture and place the items in vertical columns. Next, they write the total under each column. Last, the analyzing happens...
Which do we have more of? How do you know? How many more crayons are there than paperclips? And so on...     

Music Today

In this lesson, the kids will investigate what their Zinnia plant needs in order to grow. Their seeds have sprouted so now the kids notice that the leaves of the young plants lean toward the light.
