New Concept: One thing that mathematicians do is they gather data and then learn what they can from it. Today I thought it would be fun to do the same thing.
Take turns spinning the spinner until you have each had 5 turns and marking the tally marks. After each turn take the shape you spun. Then analyze your data. Count the shapes, answer the questions, then graph your shapes.
Whole Group Explore: Today you and your partner will play this same game.
Student Application: Students will analyze their own data and graph it.
