Math: Measuring
The other day the children measured with small cubes.Today they are measuring with large paper clips. Again, the skill they are working on is lining up the paper clips at the starting point of the object and count accurately.

Our focus today will be on what it means to be brave or courageous. The children will receive a small paper booklet that explains what Veterans Day is.
The children will glue and assemble the parts to make a military person.
~Iraqi War Vet, Sean Nies has sent a video to us today explaining what a Veteran is and what his job was when he served. Sean is a Seabee in the Navy. His rank is First Class Petty Officer. He was deployed to Al Taqaddum, Iraq. His wife is a former teacher here at MLE.
