Math: 'Match Me Minus 1'
New Concept: We have been playing “Match me +1.” Today I want to show you a different version of “Match me.” We are going to play “Match Me - 1.”
Build a set of cubes on one side of the mat then build a set that is one fewer. Use the math talk card and a marker to describe your sets.
Whole Group Explore: Today you will play “Match me - 1.” Take turns with your partner. You will use your math talk cards and a marker to describe the sets you build.
Student Application: Students will draw leaves to answer the prompt at the top of the page.
Students will write their numbers from 0-15.
