Word Focus Review: I (2nd time)
Again, you will see that we will focus on the sight words a second time that were introduced last week. It is important to revisit and use the words to learn them.
Kinderphonics: Letter Ll Review & Sound Sort: What begins with Ll?
Phonemic Awareness: Blend Onset & Rime (c-at, p-an, d-og, etc.)
Handwriting: lowercase l
Writer's Workshop: Labeling for DetailI will be drawing a picture of things we see at a park. The children will help label some of these things with me. We will get more detailed by focusing in on one of those items I draw and label it. (dog)
Kindermath: Number Order 0-10The kids will continue to build their knowledge of number order by working on what comes before and after in the counting sequence. They will use a spinner to write the number in the middle frame and write the number that comes before/after.

Social Studies: Being a Good CitizenThis lesson is reviews all we have learned about being a good citizen.

~We now have a bakery play center in our classroom. The kids will be working hard to make bakery goods out of play dough.
Maybe it makes sense now... :)
