Word Focus Review: on (2nd time)
Again, you will see that we will focus on the sight words a second time that were introduced last week. It is important to revisit and use the words to learn them.
Kinderphonics: Letter Oo Review & Sound Sort: What begins with Oo?
Phonemic Awareness: Blend Onset & Rime (s-un, b-ag, p-op, etc.)
Handwriting: lowercase o
Writer's Workshop: Ask & WriteThe children will be taught how to ask questions about someone else's story. This will help the illustrator possibly add more details to their drawings.
Math: Counting Up and Back
Because it's Election Day, the kids will be voting for Duck or Farmer Brown at the conclusion of the Duck for President story. They will even cast their ballot in a voting booth! We will complete the 'Election Results' together.
