I will say a word in three parts: /c/ /u/ /b/, while putting one finger up for each sound. Next, I make a fist and bring it toward my chest while saying the word.
/d/ /a/ /b/, /s/ /u/ /b/, /f /e/ /d/, etc.
Handwriting: lowercase s
