~Things we can do.
~Things we can make.

Math: Equal Sign
Today we move into the abstract symbol of the equal sign. As you know, the kids have worked hard in understanding combining of sets. Now it's time to apply those skills through a new means! To help launch today's lesson, we will read through Animals on Board by: Stuart Murphy and meet the character, Ellie the Equal.
For today, the kids will use the equal sign rather than the term 'makes' to complete the problem.
