The kids will work with their partners to fill a teen number ten frame board to represent a teen number. I will show the number 17 and the kids fill their ten frame board to match. I will do this with the numbers 11-17. Next, the kids will show their partner a hide ten card set and their partner will state what they see...“10 and 5, 15!”

Finally, the kids will be using the Teen Number “and some more” cards to quiz their partners.

Character Education
 Mrs. Weninger is introducing the Zones of Regulation focusing specifically on the blue zone.
Zones of Regulation is an approach used to support the development of self-regulation in children. All the different ways children feel and the states of alertness they experience are categorized into four colored zones. Children who are well regulated are able to be in the appropriate zone at the appropriate time.
