We will focus on the vocabulary words within the story (important, nervous, serious, budge, tucked) and answer these questions:
1) Where does the story take place?
2) Who are the main characters?
3) What happened at the beginning, middle, and end of the story

KinderWriting: Illustrators Create Storybooks
Everyday the kids are inching toward creating the kind of simple storybooks that we think of. The process for our little authors requires systematic instruction to get to that point. Today, the kids will illustrate a 3-page book that includes a beginning, middle, and end. 
     KinderMath: About 19
We have worked hard to know that teen numbers are made up of a group of 10 and some more. Today we finish up our work with teen numbers
Social Studies: Martin Luther King, Jr. 
At the conclusion of the story, Be A Kingthe kids will complete a dot-to-dot portrait of Martin Luther King, Jr.
