Handwriting: Down the Steps
Uppercase A is the only letter that starts with the "Down the Steps" stroke. V and W are the only letters that have "Up the Steps" stroke.

Using actions, the kids will review the vocabulary words (ripe, bloom, thud, dribbles, and rot) from the story. Next, we will compare/contrast the stories, Apples for Everyone and Ten Red Apples, to see the similarities and differences between the two.

KinderMath: More Than

As the title says, today's lesson will give the kids opportunities to compare groups of items and determine which group has more. This is building the foundation for counting & cardinality.

~If you bought an Irish Pride shirt for your child, it will be sent home today. There was a shortage of youth small sizes. w2substituted youth mediums for the youth small sizes that were ordered so that we wouldn't have to wait for the smalls to be available again.
