In addition to focusing on number 9, the kids will work on identifying the missing number in a counting sequence (7, _ , 9) as well as counting on from 5 using a Ten Frame as shown.
We want the children to see that within the ten frame, the top row has 5 and one more below it. We count: "5,6". There is no need to count each dot if we train our brain to see "5" automatically. They will continue counting on with numbers 7-9.
Our school is having a Fun Run Fundraiser Pep Rally this afternoon!
Over the next 6 school days, your child will learn leadership qualities from staff representing Apex Leaders Co. in preparation for the Fun Run to be held on November 2. Your child will be able to ask family & friends to sponsor their run.
