Today's lesson focuses on understanding what the number 8 is and how it can be represented in multiple ways. (Writing the numeral, 8 fingers, tallies, number word, 8 objects, counting 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 etc.) We will work on noticing that no matter how you arrange 8 cubes (in a row, stairs, in a rectangle, etc.) it is always 8. We also continue to work on what comes next in a sequence of numbers.

~The Book Fair will be open this evening. Our class will be shopping tomorrow if you wish to send cash or do the ewallet type of payment. Again, we would love to have you stop in whenever it's convenient for you as well!

Watch the most heart warming thing happen at the pepfest on Friday when the Seniors presented the Kindergarteners with the spirit hanky! My heart was overflowing!
