Writer's Workshop: Shape Park
This will be a directed drawing where the kids will follow each part of the park step by step. It will be drawn in their Directed Drawing Notebook.
Mrs. Weninger will be here teach the children about the Unthinkables, Space Invader (See photo below.) & Blurting Bob. (Unfortunately, I could not find a photo/description for him.)
Partners will work on building sets of 9 and 10 using a 10-Frame and comparing with each other who has more/less. Next The children will hear the story, Ten Black Dots and see how sets of 9 and 10 dots can be made into different things. The story will be used again tomorrow so the children can create their own picture using black dots.
