Art: We officially begin 'Art' today as Fridays will be our 'Art' day. Today's lesson is on 'Line' and the concepts presented are:
~There are many different kinds of lines.
~Line has different characteristics (thick/thin, straight/curved, long/short, ragged, wiry, curly, broken, jagged, smooth, etc. )
~A line is the path created by a moving point. It can vary in width, direction, and length.
We will be looking for 'line' in paintings by Van Gogh, Klee, and Johnson. The children will be guided to create a caterpillar with a variety of lines.
~Permission slips for the St. Tim's Thanksgiving dance are due Monday, November 24. Again, Kindergarten students must have a parent in attendance with them.
~Have a wonderful weekend!
