Reading Workshop: Making Inferences with the poster Sam the Sad Dog
The kids will:~Make inferences using what they see in pictures and read in text.~Use clues in the text along with what you know to make inferences.

Writer's Workshop: The children will be writing a thank you note for the people who donated money so our class could receive the Time for Kids magazine. These are people from across Minnesota and the country. 
Math: We are finishing up our work on whole/part-part by making a class book. The children will be put in partners and given a story problem to work on for a page in the book.

The children will learn about the holiday tradition in Sweden.
~Wellness Wednesday tomorrow...the kids should wear their workout clothes.
~Our class was asked to go to the high school at 10:15 this morning to pick the hallway area that is decorated the best. How fun!
~The children enjoyed the storybook reader yesterday...
