Literacy Shelf Time

A storybook reader is scheduled for 9:20 to read The Paper Bag Princess.

 Math: 3D Faces
 New Concepts: We learned a little about how 3D shapes are different. We also
learned that the flat part of a shape is called a face. Not all of the faces are the same. I am going to show you how to trace the face of your 3D shapes.
Whole Group Explore: Today you are going to do “Trace the Face” with your partner.
Student Application:
Students will practice numeral formation 1-5.
Students will color the shapes with a circle face red.
Students will color the shapes with a square face blue.
Students will color the shapes that do not have a face yellow. PhyEd Today
