The children will:
~Discuss the concept of families.
~Ask questions before reading.Build concepts about print.
~Build academic and sight word vocabulary.
~Build fluency through choral-reading.
~Build oral language and vocabulary through whole-group discussion.
Literacy Shelf Time

New Concepts: We learned a little about how 3D shapes are different. We also
learned that the flat part of a shape is called a face. Not all of the faces are the same. I am going to show you how to trace the face of your 3D shapes.
Whole Group Explore: Today you are going to do “Trace the Face” with your partner.
Student Application:
Students will practice numeral formation 1-5.
Students will color the shapes with a circle face red.
Students will color the shapes with a square face blue.
Students will color the shapes that do not have a face yellow.


Try to grab a creature using the tongs without touching the spiderweb!

~Tomorrow is late start...Have your child wear their Irish Pride shirt.
~National Hot Lunch Day is tomorrow. We will meet you in the front entryway at 11:45.
~The book order is due Wednesday.
~We enjoyed celebrating Addie's birthday on Friday...
