Math: Composing/Decomposing Teen Numbers (Day 2)
We have built number bonds before. Today we are going to build them with larger numbers. I am going to spin the spinner and build the number with my manipulatives. Then I will use my numbers like I did before. Now I can write this down on my number bond page. Finally I will use my math talk card. I included a picture to show you the steps to this activity.
The kids will be "hatching" eggs over the next two days. The kids will sit on their egg to "incubate" it so something will hatch on Thursday. If they are successful at staying on their egg, it might crack! Watch for a photo tomorrow to see!
